PennDOT has provided resources for motorists to stay updated on the construction and traffic conditions. The interchange is expected to reopen on Friday, September 22. The southbound ramps and Allegheny Avenue between Richmond Street and I-95 will be closed. This is part of PennDOT's I-95/AF2 project.

The temporary signs are for the upcoming closure of the southbound Allegheny Avenue Interchange starting on Monday, August 14. This project aims to replace and improve the existing section of I-95 and enhance connections between Center City and the Delaware River waterfront.

The construction work is part of PennDOT's I-95/CAP project. The work schedules may change due to weather. Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time. This is for the installation of temporary signs.

On Monday, August 14, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the right lane on southbound I-95 between the Betsy Ross Bridge and Allegheny Avenue interchanges will also be closed. During this period, the right lane on northbound I-95 between South Street and Market Street will be closed for construction work. Travel will be restricted from Monday, August 14 to Friday, August 18, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) plans to start construction on parts of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia next week.
